August 2011 - We are so excited to announce a new partnership between LIFETIME ADOPTION and CEILI RAIN! Lifetime Adoption was founded in 1986 as an Adoption Support and Referral Group. The mission was and still is to help families and birthmothers come together. Lifetime Adoption was founded by Adoption expert Mardie Caldwell. Mardie has made appearances on CNN, FOX, ABC, NBC/The Today Show, Larry King Live, The 700 Club and much more.

July 2011 - Greg Walton's new Advent song titled COME TO US was recently selected for publication by Oregon Catholic Press/Spirit&Song.com. Greg traveled to Portland, OR to record the song with OCP/SpiritandSong and will be included in Choose Christ 2012. In addition to Jesus Glue Ministries, Greg Walton is an OCP/Spirit&Song composer and his song King of My Heart continues to be a staple in the OCP/SpiritandSong catalog.
June 2011 - The first video by Ceili Rain featuring new music from MANUKA HONEY has been released! The band (as a 4 piece) performed Sweetest I’ve Seen at a recent event at the University of Illinois-Chicago (UIC) and was captured on film by the guys at SpiritJuice Studios. This song is quickly becoming an album favorite and the Ceili boys did a great job delivering it-LIVE-to a packed student audience. You can check out the video here!
May 2011 - A good song is a good song, but sometimes it might just be the BEST song! Pictures of Us from the CD titled EVERYDAY WITH YOU by Christopher Ames (and co-written by our own Aly B) is proving to be a real contender in the 2011 Best Original Song Competition. The contest started with over 100 songs and will be narrowed down to just 3 with the final song being revealed as THE BEST on June 22. We’re keeping our fingers crossed-but we are proud of Chris and Aly nonetheless!
April 2011 - We put on our ten gallon hat this month to do a consult with aspiring country artist - Tylor Bailey! This singer/songwriter/performer has been entertaining audiences at some of the most recognized venues down on Broadway in good ‘ol Nashville for the last couple of years and he’s turnin’ some heads too! He’s getting ready to branch out and we helped get him on track! You’ll enjoy every bit of this guy and the originality of his music too. (We think “Ron’s Hot Tub” is a radio hit!) March 2011 - CEILI RAIN kicks off a 12 day tour to celebrate the release of MANUKA HONEY! They say that the honey that comes from bees in New Zealand, feeding on the widespread manuka bush, is a natural healing agent. In the eyes and ears of Ceili Rain front man, Bob Halligan Jr., so too is music (a natural healing agent). On this new CD release (the 7th studio project from this award winning band) you’ll hear that MANUKA HONEY is filled with songs about love! Radical love, healing love, emotional love, spiritual love, romantic love and more! Of course it wouldn’t be a Ceili Rain record if BHJr didn’t address (as some say) controversial subjects… but the guy writes what is on his heart and on his mind. February 2011 - The booking team at ALBIE Entertainment is always looking for different and unique venues where artists can perform. Just recently, Greg Walton performed at a Bridal Fair hosted by Maury County Parks and Recreation in Columbia, TN. Greg’s set introduced listeners to both original songs and cover songs perfect for any wedding celebration. Attendees had an opportunity to talk with Greg about music ideas for their wedding ceremony, while the rest of the team introduced music by other artists ALBIE Entertainment has worked with in the past.
January 2011 - Christopher Ames hits the studio this month to start work on his new CD to be titled JOURNEYMAN (expected to release in late Spring). Christopher is staying in the New York area to record this project which will be produced by critically acclaimed songwriter and award winner, Bob Halligan Jr. Christopher became acquainted with Halligan through the ALBIE Entertainment artist roster and immediately recognized similar interests in music. Chris has been raising monies to record this CD through donor sponsorship. The CD will incorporate songs that represent Christopher’s journey as a musician, stories he has heard on his travels, and his own personal faith journey.
December 2010 - ALBIE Entertainment recently had a presence in New Orleans, LA where the team attended NCCYM - National Conference for Catholic Youth Ministry. Several ALBIE Entertainment artists were selected to perform at this bi-annual event on the Resource Expo Stage. The Resource Expo hosted nearly 200 booths highlighting publishers, music labels, work camps, vendors, and youth service organizations that help to supply Catholic Youth Ministers with all of their ministry needs.
November 2010 - What an honor it was to do an artist consult this month with the Harrisburg, Pa based group SEASONS. SEASONS is a family instrumental group making beautiful melodies with some of THE most unique instrumentation including the harp, the hammered dulcimer, the violin, the mandolin, and the bohdran (Irish drum). Rooted in faith, and excellence in education, these young musicians know exactly where they are supposed to be, but just needed our help to get them going and see some new avenues to explore. Their music is enchanting, uplifting and we think they are right on the mark! They have already released 3 recorded projects and show no signs of slowing down.
October 2010 - Kickstarter helps bring Lead Us into Christmas Day to the radio this year! This year, the popular Christmas song (co-written by Christopher Ames and, our own, Aly Bleistine) will be introduced to 2500 radio stations through a partnership with CRW thanks to fans/friends that helped raise the resources for the radio promotion through the online fundraising site, Kickstarter.
September 2010 - Speakers for the 2011 RECongress were announced this month and we are excited to report that Greg Walton has been selected to be a workshop speaker/leader at YOUTH DAY. RECongress is sponsored annually by The Los Angeles Catholic Archdiocese Office of Religious Education. Over 40,000 people attend this 4 day event, and YOUTH DAY is geared specifically for high school age youth. Greg will be presenting a workshop titled “With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility”.
August 2010 - ALBIE Entertainment artists win big at the 2010 Unity Awards (presented by the UCMVA-United Catholic Music & Video Association) held this month in Calgary, Alberta Canada. Greg Walton won 5 awards including Song of the Year for his song, Tune of Ignorance. Greg also won the award for Modern Rock/Alternative Song of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, and Songwriter of the Year (a tie with Bob Halligan Jr). Greg also received the award for Producer of the Year on behalf of Jeff Thomas and Tune of Ignorance. Ceili Rain was recognized as Group of the Year, and received the award for Modern Rock/Alternative Album of the Year for I MADE LEMONADE. Bob Halligan Jr was recognized as Songwriter of The Year, and our own Aly Bleistine, along with designer Zora Puskacova, won the award for Album Packaging of the Year. ALBIE General Manager, Bill Bleistine was on hand to receive the awards along with the artists. In addition, Bill presented a marketing workshop at the UCMVA music conference held earlier in the week.
July 2010 - Ceili Rain heads back into the studio this month to start work on their 7th studio recording to be titled-MANUKA HONEY. The CD is being co-produced with Grammy nominated producer, Roman Klun, (who has worked with artists such as Sarah McLachlan, Joan Osborne, Gino Vannelli and others). The CD is being recorded at His House-Innsbruck Studios in New York City. The studio is a partnership between Roman Klun and Aaron Comess (Spin Doctors).
June 2010 - We recently had an opportunity to do an artist consult with a music minister from the Cincinnati area named BILL TONNIS. A former “news/radio guy”, Bill is a contemporary singer/songwriter committed to a path of discipleship and wants to use his music, his ministry and his personal testimony as a way to encourage others. He currently has two recorded projects and is working on a brand new ministry presentation titled “Listen-Live-Give…Finding YOUR Voice!”
May 2010 - GREG WALTON is pleased to announce the release of his new video for his classic hit-“Dear Dorothy”. This new video, produced by Spirit Juice Studios features Greg and drummer Bill Bleistine performing LIVE as a duo at the Catholic Underground in Chicago. April 2010 - The music of CEILI RAIN, GREG WALTON and CHRISTOPHER AMES will all be featured in a variety of upcoming episodes of THE FAITHFUL TRAVELER airing on EWTN. February 2010 - ALBIE ENTERTAINMENT is pleased to announce the release of the new modern rock worship CD from Michael James Mette titled ALWAYS WHAT I NEED. The songs found on this CD were inspired by Mette’s Catholic faith and address the prevalent issues and questions that teenagers are faced with today. Through his experiences as a music minister, and working with teens and young adults, Michael James Mette continues to hear a common theme “What is this life for?”
The fundamental choice between doubt and faith is addressed in original songs (penned by Mette) like "Know Love Serve" and "This is Our Lamb", while "Always What I Need" and "Prepare Me" point to a reliance on God's providence. With an energy and style that cuts through the apathy of a "Guitar Hero" generation, Michael's timeless message finds a comfortable niche for the youth of the Church. Other songs covered on the album include new twists on classic praise and worship songs like “Open the Eyes of My Heart”, and “Lord I Lift your Name”. January 2010 - ALBIE ENTERTAINMENT is pleased to announce the release of Harmony & Balance from songwriter/composer Matthew Baute. This new ambient instrumental project is inspired by the notion that life can be so much more rewarding when we don't complicate it.
The ten compositions on this project were recorded by Baute, with additional guidance by Grammy nominated producer - Warren Dennis Kahn. Similar to the style of George Winston, John Tesh, Liz Story and Vangelis, nine of the tracks are original songs including titles such as Emerging Light, Unfolding Grandeur and New Life Whispers. There is also a gentle new arrangement of the popular song, Bridge Over Troubled Water, penned by songwriter, Paul Simon.
Harmony & Balance is a bit of a departure from Baute’s previous recording projects as it does not include vocal arrangements, but it is not far from the objectives of the artist which is to bring healing and renewal through music and prayer. The music on this CD is not only a wonderful prescription for relaxation and meditation, but can also be used as a healing tool in music therapy. December 2009 - ALBIE ENTERTAINMENT artist Bob Halligan Jr (frontman for Ceili Rain) was recently selected to appear as “Paul McCartney” in a New Jersey-based Beatlemania outfit led by Lucien Nocelli, Beatlemania Stage Show. For those who know Halligan, his “personal interest” in all-things Beatles is no secret. Halligan will join the cast in late February 2010. November 2009 - ALBIE ENTERTAINMENT will be exhibiting at NCYC 2009! This National Catholic Youth Conference is a bi-annual event that offers youth, ministers and parents an opportunity to learn about and experience the Catholic faith through general sessions, concurrent sessions, entertainment, networking and evangelization. Several ALBIE Entertainment artists have been selected to make appearances at this event gathering over 25,000 in attendance. July 2009 - Mima Rekidz is pleased to announce the new CD Release from critically acclaimed touring, and recording artist - CEILI RAIN titled I MADE LEMONADE. After five successful “label” projects, Bob Halligan Jr. (front-man for Ceili Rain) took a step away from the traditional industry route and has created a CD that not only encompasses his flair for lyrical creativity and instrumentation, but also embodies a spirit of community in bringing this project to fruition. June 2009 - World Library Publications (WLP) artist Matthew Baute is seeing tremendous success and attention for his song ONE from his CD titled - River of Grace. The song was recently introduced to the wedding and bridal market when couples started inquiring about usage of the song for their wedding ceremonies. April 2009 - ALBIE ENTERTAINMENT is pleased to announce that three of their artists were recognized as award recipients at the recent 2009 KCCM Awards held in the Kansas City area on Saturday, April 18th. World Library Publications artist, MATTHEW BAUTE was recognized as a first-time recipient for INSPIRATIONAL Artist of the Year. SHARMANE received the award for POP Artist of the Year, and CHRISTOPHER AMES received the award for ACOUSTIC Artist of the Year and also SONGWRITER of the Year. In addition to the award presentations, attendees were blessed with live musical performances from a variety of artists. Both MATTHEW BAUTE (River of Grace) and CHRISTOPHER AMES (Everyday With You) performed songs from their current CD releases, along with local artists such as Karla Bauer-Tate, Kenny Gamble, and Shawn Derritt. Other special guest performers included Paul Clark, and Alisa Childers (formerly of ZoeGirl). The KCCM Awards are an ecumenical sponsored annually by KingCat Music based in the Kansas City area. February 2009 - Prayerful Hearts Ministry artist SHARMANE hits the studio to work on her third CD project tentatively titled LEAP OF FAITH. ALBIE ENTERTAINMENT assisted SHARMANE on all the A&R regarding the record from song selection, style direction, producer coordination and more. This project is due to release in late May.
January 2009 - ALBIE ENTERTAINMENT and JesusGlue Ministries is pleased to announce that TUNE OF IGNORANCE by GREG WALTON is the winner in the ALTERNATIVE Category for the 2008 SONGDOOR INTERNATIONAL SONGWRITING COMPETITION.
